personal query...

hey gang...idk what's going on at my job, we were acquired by a pretty big company a few months ago & lots of things have been changing in the last couple of weeks, including a lot of people being let go that were told originally that they didn't need to worry about it...since i'm the most recently hired employee, i'm getting a little nervous...i've applied at paypal, bofa, and verizon and will be applying at amazon tonight when i get home, but was just wondering if anyone else had any job availability info that they'd like to share with me...i'm trying really hard to be proactive here, i really can't be without a job right now...let me know if you know anything...thanks!
